Darius's Food Review - Rice Cereal/Carrot Puree

Started with An Empty bowl 

Poured Rice cereal and 3 baby spoon of the Cooked carrot puree

Mixed and Twirl until semi- solidified.

The Puree is finally ready to be served to the " King"

Enjoying the Puree but need some warm water to wash down.

The unavoidable MESS

 Give ME MORE !!! and Stop using your Iphone to snap me, Just hold on to the SPOON and FEED ME

That was his message to Mummy " Sigh"

 OK, I need to be more efficient with every single drop of this nice stuff

 It's really Gluey, but superb!

 Mummy, I'll bite on the Bowl so that you will not take this good stuff away

Finally the Verdict from Darius on his very 1st Rice cereal-Carrot Puree.

Verdict : 5 Thumbs UP !!!

Still after all the serving of Rice cereal -carrot puree, dear Big D still need his normal dosage of MILK in order to be knocked off.

Side Line a little, wondering where did those leftover carrots been to?

Daddy also gave 100 Points for the wonderful pasta dinner (* Winks*)

Now all the washing and cleaning left to be done.

Darius's Carrot Puree

After trying out potatoes and Darius being very receptive to it. The next puree we are going to try is the Orange Carrot! And we have here is the 7 simple steps too puree carrot...

1. Buy a big chunky carrot, wash it n Peel it clean.

2. Chop / Slice and decorate a Plate with it ( Clown below)

3. Remnants carrot are further slice and treat as leftovers for the parents

4. Put the " Clown " Carrots into the Philip Magic Steam- Blender

5.Cover up and start to Steam those lovely orange bits

6. Steam for ~ 10-15 mins, set off the timer and go play with Darius

( This timer is very useful, Kudos to Daddy for buying one from Daiso)

7. Once complete the steaming, turnover and start to blend.

7. Store the final product into a container , heat up when it's messy meal time

The Puree Attempt Using Philip Avent (Steam-Blender)

We decided to start you ( big D) to have a go at some root Vege - Potato for a start. You have started having Rice cereal mixed with BM... now we want to intro another taste and texture...


We bought Potatoes from Giant. Peeled them clean, and chop them up and throw into the magic steam-blender. Add 150ml water, Steam for 15 mins then turn and blend

WELLA~~~

And into this tasty mix of Rice cereal + BM + Potato Puree

And you really enjoyed it :)

YUMMIE :), Now gone for a hot bath and soon.. to dreamland.
