Changes and More Changes

Alright, Mummy has been OVERLY bz, Thus we missed out those major milestones of Darius

Here's in Chronological order ( all in mummy's mind..... )

1. 1st Cruise holiday with Sim Family and extended
2. 1st Birthday Celebration @ Gymboree - this is a little hard to blog, but we have pictures that explains the whole saga
3. 1st attempt to WALK and how parents forcefully made him walk ( @ Playground)
4. All the first words - Corn, Bird, Dog, Cat, Oh Oh, " WAH" , Mak, Mama (which meant -help, Wawa (which meant -Pain), Per -Apple, Pear, Nanana - Banana (his fav fruit)

Banana - Can't let go!

1. Kisses to Mummy and Daddy - Kissing on our cheeks with a loud sound " Muaks"
2. Mummy Singing Fish song and stop at " Why" , Darius expressively using hands to show " Why?"
3. Able to shake head to express " NO NO NO" and "I don't want"
4. Gymboree exprience - Play and Learn 4 - Shake shake shake and Freeze - Those kiddos were taught to put the marcaques ON their head
5. 1st song to sing along - Justin Bieber " Baby Baby Baby OH" and dancing with his trademark move " 2 fingers pointing to the sky"
6. Lastest Fav song - Old macdonalds - Able to hum to the song, Old Macdonald had a farm, E I E I O, very distinctive with his "O"
7. 1st time bullyingother kids - Pinched an older boy at the playground because he is frustrated with that boy for not sharing
8. akan datang > Darius is going to START Playgroup, FULL DAY - Biggest change from Granny's place to Childcare centre coming 16 July2012....

Fine, we will Patch up the blog with some of the entries mentions..... Oh My~ How mummy is going to find time....

Well the major change is that we have made a Car switched, apparently the Beloved Honda Civic is getting all too cramped up and may not be able to cater to the new family member - Chloe. Hence we switched to a new ( 3 year old), Red Honda stream with Sun roof and DVD system. Darius LOVE the DVD system SO so so so so MUCH! Mummy love it too, keeps Darius fully occupied with Sesame street episodes.

Big D and the Cold Weather

My son is a baby who hates the heat, he has to sleep with both aircon and direct fan. Imagine his life in Singapore during noon time. He's like a polar bear to us. Eversince we are preparing for the Europe trip...we kept wondering how he would react to the cold, would he loved it and smile? The snapshots speaks a thousand word.

Unexpected, i guess the cold icy feeling just got stuck on his cheeks, overall he feels weird and indeed it's cold. Brrrr.... what a polar bear. Funny thing is , when we tried to clothed him up layers and layers indoor (in door it's still warm), he totally hates it and struggles, but we are just glad he knows what's good for him and did not fuss with the hear gear!

Into the Air!

Your 1st flight and it's on Singapore Airlines to Germany, it's going to be a 13 hours long ...long... long ...flight, plus another transit flight.

Delay during the take off,  plus it's wee hours... so luckily Darius slept before the take off and once stablized , air stewardess installed the bassinet. Yeah, his sitting on it and can tahan his weight. Although lying down position, we had to slightly bend his knees. Overall , it's useful for feeding and timeoff for mummy + super tired daddy.

Finally, we are about to land, had to prepare a really... long FEED ( milk ). There was no experience and we didnt want a bad , cranky and loud crying.  Darius managed the landing well, no complains just kept sucking his milk ( tho it's diluted halfway landing since we did not prepare enough for the plane to circled around the airport). This was the Looooooongest time ever on the plane, the landing, it was like FOREVER ! Was so worried that Big D finished his milk way too fast. Anyway we are glad we touched down and Q for the next transit!

While Q-ing, it started to get a little warm indoor ( the only cold, not evern freezing part was the direct moment out from the aircraft.) Took off fleece jacket and big D was smiling again.

So we are waiting for the next flight, I guess he is probably thinking " How come we are not back home? and there's always aircon on?"
Daddy's answer - : ' Darius, we are far far far way from home, it's 13 hours away..."

Unglam but still Cute as a Pie

Darius, you will probably be mad at me for this post but anyway that's to deal with next time ( maybe 20 years later)

 And you continue to show this granny face, like a grumpy old man munching his food. The real reason why you are sticking this face is because those precious teeth, you are playing your lips with your teeth :)

 Sleeping Prince,no matter where you are and how noisy the place is. We are wondering whom did you inherit this awesome trait from- Daddy?

Naughty

Darius was down with the stomach flu - he vomited and LS several times. To make matters worse his Dad was also down with the same viral infection.


Phew~ that makes Mummy's life a mess. A real mess. Had to take time off from work to look after Darius so he can recuperate @ home. Bad news :  Cousin Isaac is also down.


Brought the naughty boy to the Pd for medicine and consultation. His weight was maintain @ 10.4 kg ( must be output )

Naughty D is still able to show his 2 milk teeth despite not feeling well. Don't be mistaken, the smile lasted only 2 minutes... and next it's all grumps grumps grumpy D.


During the recuperation @ home, while spending time with D, such realization struck me. Darius was growing very fast and he has learnt to do so many things.

Like snatching his mealtime spoon and bite on it the other way round + lazing on the sofa like a big boss. :)

Another Big Boss act - Tiao Ka ( Bringing up one's feet )

Refusing to sleep and after a long patting on the buttocks, turn and gave a SMILE, the addition of 2 milk teeth adds a Naughty factor to the SMILE.

And very swiftly, the booing face is BACK.

  And after eating, gave a sour face ... 

 This is the most candid shot, struggling out from dad's arms because his dad started to discipline him and Big D just don't like it.

I guess, Darius is starting to show off his naughty traits...
